How to setup Wifi to ethernet adapter

In this article we are going to explain how to program our Wifi to ethernet adapter to connect to your Starlinks Wifi. 

First, we need to setup your computer’s IP address to be in range of the Starlink ethernet adapter alternative IP address. To do this we need to edit your computers IP address by going into your network settings.

  1. In Windows, click Start and type network connections. In the search results click View network connections. 
  2. Right click on Ethernet (Local Area Connection) and click Properties.

3. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > and click Properties.

4. Select Use the following IP address. Enter IP address 192.168.254.200 in the IP address field. 
Enter 255.255.255.0 in the subnet mask field.
Click OK twice. 

5. Open any Internet browser and enter 192.168.254.254 into the address bar. This will open up the login to the ethernet adapter. Enter admin / admin for the username & password to login.

6. Select the Wizard option

7. Select your Starlink Wifi Network and click Next.

8. Enter your Starlink Wifi password as indicated in RED and click Apply.

9.  Click the Start Connect Button.

10. Once this updates to Connected, you can then unplug from your PC and plug into your Mesh Network or Network Switch.
